You may consider winterizing your spa if you know you are not going to be using it at all during the winter. Winterizing is important to avoid costly repairs. Common problems that may arise from leaving water in your hot tub during the winter include moisture damage, and more costly, cracked pipes. This is because of water’s unique property of expanding when frozen. 

The spa closing process includes:

• Spa is powered down and drained
• Jets will be vacuumed out
• Heating and plumbing is loosened to clear any residual water
• Cover is cleaned and placed back on the spa
• Spa is left powered down
• Option for customers to purchase a cover guard for snow, ice, sap and UV protection

We will open your spa for the season and perform a full inspection. This process includes:

• Cover is removed and tub is cleaned of any debris
• Plumbing and heating is reconnected (if plumbing was disconnected)
• Water is filled using customers' water supply and hose (Water truck is available for an extra fee)
• Pipes are inspected for leaks/wetness
• New Filters are installed (if purchased)
• Tub is powered on and chemical balancing is started (weather dependant)
  

Water change completed along with use of our Spa Flush Plumbing and Jet Cleanse chemical (available for purchase) for a thorough clean of your entire spa.

This process includes:

• Cover is removed and Spa Flush is added to the spa and circulated for 15 minutes
• Pillows and filters are removed and added into the spa to circulate with Spa Flush
• Spa will be drained, while draining the spa will be wiped down and cleaned out
• Jets will be vacuumed and blown out
• Spa is refilled using customer water supply (Water truck available for extra fee)
• New Filters are installed (if purchased)
• Tub is powered on and chemical balancing is started (weather dependant)
